Janelle Williams at Point Dume

Early in June 2026 I connected with Janelle to shoot a test shoot on the beach in Malibu, California. We went to Point Dume beach to create a series of images in her yellow swim suit. I chose the rocky location because it feels like the end of the earth meeting the water. We started a bit late and ended up with some over head light. I brought a RZ67 I had just acquired, to test, as well as shooting on the canon r6 mark 2 I was using for digital images. The weather was perfect and I stayed around a little after the shoot to hike around Point Dume.

These are the images we shot on the RZ67. I shot them on Lucky 200 color film from ArtHouse film lab. the colors had some funky shifts, and the flash wasn’t always triggering the way it does when I use my RZ67 proii
